Mechanical and plumbing design for a new 5 story hotel, approximately 90,470 SF, at Viejas Casino. This hotel consists of 150 rooms, buffet expansion, casino concourse, and basement.
The HVAC system serving the guestrooms and suites is variable refrigerant flow split systems with multiple fan coil units connecting to a common condensing unit. The buffet seating expansion, entry lobby, casino/hotel connection and corridors are heated and cooled using rooftop gas/electric units. The fitness center and basement are served by split-system heat pump units. Guestroom and suite exhaust is served by central rooftop exhaust fans.
Plumbing systems include new plumbing fixtures, sanitary waste and vent and potable water to all guestrooms. Domestic hot water is provided by large high-efficiency water heaters and storage tank. Building storm drainage is provided via roof drains and downspout piping connected to site storm system. Plumbing fixtures are provided with high efficiency, low-flow faucets and fixtures to minimize potable water consumption.
