Mechanical and plumbing design for the renovation of Tower 180°, a 345,000 SF high-rise office building located in the heart of downtown in San Diego. The office building includes a restaurant and retail space in the ground floor, lobby space, offices with panoramic views of the San Diego Bay and Coronado Islands, double height mezzanine spaces, San Diego’s largest rooftop venue and event space, a rooftop amenity deck with outdoor media, conference rooms, work stations and a cafe. Some of the amenities included in this building are valet parking, electrical charging stations, a fitness studio, farm to table delights as well as a patio for sunset cocktails.
The mechanical systems on Tower 180 are a retrofit to replace the aging existing mechanical system. The retrofit mechanical systems include water cooled VRF, cooling tower, and boiler plant.
Plumbing systems include low flow plumbing fixtures, domestic hot and cold water, sanitary waste and vent, grease waste, gas, and condensate drains.
