Retro-Commissioning services for the HVAC, lighting, and control systems at the San Diego International Airport Terminal 1 (T1), Terminal 2 East (T2E), Terminal 2 West (T2W), Terminal 2 West – Expansion (T2W-E), and the Authority Administrative building to increase efficiency, improve comfort, and reduce energy and maintenance cost for the Airport Authority.
Facilities in the scope of work include Terminal 1 (T1), Terminal 2 East (T2E), Terminal 2 West (T2W), Terminal 2 West – Expansion (T2W-E), and the Authority Administrative building, totaling to about one million square feet of conditioned building area. The scope includes surveying HVAC and other building systems to identify cost-effective opportunities to improve system performance and efficiency. The work includes assessing the building system performance by analyzing trend logs from SDIA’s building automation system, and using the analysis to develop projections for potential energy savings. After implementing all identified measures, system performance verification and training is provided to SDIA staff to ensure that savings continue to accrue over time.
