Mechanical and plumbing design for the four-level parking structure with 320 spaces to accommodate parking needs for the Cesar E. Chavez Continuing Education Campus located in Barrio Logan. It will also support a future classroom building on the campus of San Diego Community College District’s Continuing Education. The parking structure includes 4,000 SF rooftop level solar electric panels.
Mechanical systems include split system heat pumps to provide cooling for elevator machine room and electrical rooms.
Plumbing systems include drainage for all parking levels. Upper parking levels are drained to Bio-planters for filtering storm water. Lower parking levels are drained to site sewer system. Each parking level is provided with hose bibs for hose keeping purposes.
