Mechanical and plumbing systems design services for a seismic upgrade at the Naval Medical Center at Naval Base San Diego.
This project consists of the reconfiguration of HVAC, plumbing and process systems to accommodate the installation of structural elements required to bring the 1,200,000 SF (SB 1953) facility into compliance with federally mandated seismic performance (SPC / NPC).
Work areas include all areas of the medical center and two clinic buildings, radiology imaging, and exam rooms. Patient room restrooms are upgraded to current ADA standards.
All work was performed with emphasis on minimum impact to the hospital operations.
