Mechanical and plumbing design for approximately 35,000 SF of consolidated Communications / Electrical Maintenance and Storage facility. The facility includes classroom, training room, restrooms, electrical/mechanical room and a telecommunication room.
Mechanical systemd include high efficiency chiller, cooling tower, pumps, and four-pipe fan coil units located throughout the building. The building system utilizes the existing base high temperature hot water (350°F) and water-to-water heat exchanger with pumps serving the fan coil units. The storage areas are provided with natural gas infrared heaters. The entire HVAC systems are controlled by a Direct Digital Control System (DDC) and connect to the existing Johnson Controls Communication System/Protocol.
Plumbing systems include domestic water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, natural gas, compressed air, plumbing fixtures and water heater systems.
