Complete HVAC and plumbing systems design for this approximately 150,000 SF police department headquarters. This facility includes a crime lab, shooting range, evidence storage, jail, investigation offices, locker room with showers, dispatch, and community and offices areas. This project also includes a four-story, 400-space parking structure with one level below grade.
The mechanical systems feature two high-efficiency water cooled chillers, primary/secondary chilled water pumping, cooling towers equipped with variable frequency drives, a high-efficiency gas-fired boiler, variable air volume air handling units and a state-of-the-art energy management system (EMS).
This project also exceeds Title-24 requirements by 10% and qualified for SDG&E’s energy incentives.
