Mechanical engineering and design services for this approximately 265,000 SF Catholic High School campus in Carmel Valley for the Catholic Diocese of San Diego.
This new campus replaced the existing University of San Diego High School campus, and now serves approximately 2,000 students. Built on 54 acres, the high school is comprised of 12 buildings, including a multi-story gymnasium, library and fine arts building.
HVAC design includes high efficiency gas heating and electric cooling rooftop AC-units. The entire HVAC system is optimized via a state of the art energy management system.
Value engineering recommendations reduced project costs by 5 percent during construction.
