For more than 20 years, the staff at MA Engineers has provided complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering solutions for facilities of every kind throughout Southern California. Our focus has always been to deliver innovative, sustainable, energy-saving design solutions—the type of systems that stand up to the daily rigors of use. Ultimately, our systems are designed to last, run efficiently, and save ownership money.

Our confidence in our designs stems from our vast experience and many accolades, including commendations and energy-saving earnings for efficient design. Each member of the MA Engineers team is an expert in their respective discipline. Many have worked on hundreds of projects together.

The origins of MA Engineers can be traced back to the former GEM Engineering firm formed in 1987. The company lays claim to a rich heritage of projects in every sector: Military, Education, Healthcare, Government, Corporate / Office, etc.

Today, MA Engineers is involved in cutting-edge MEP system designs for hallmark-upper education, life science/laboratories, corporate headquarters, community centers, libraries, stadiums, high-rise buildings, and more. We are dedicated to making every project successful—whatever the cost and scope. This difference is the drive for MA Engineers.

At MA Engineers, we believe sustainable design should be about solutions, not sacrifices. With 11 LEED Accredited Professionals on staff, which includes every single engineer and the majority of our support staff, sustainability is a priority on every job.

Take a long, hot shower, but use a low-flow showerhead and solar panels to heat the water. Enjoy air conditioning on a hot day, but open the windows on a nice day. Utilize lighting controls to dim LED lighting in response to daylight. You don’t need to use an outhouse to show your dedication. Instead, use low-flow fixtures and recycled water for toilet flushing.

Most importantly, build the most sustainable building possible without breaking the bank. The task is easier than you would think in a mild, sunny climate like Southern California.
